Many of these paintings have orignated from photos taken when I lived in Al-Khobar,Saudi Arabia: Doha,Qatar: London,England: Aberdeen, Scotland: Sullom Voe,Shetland Islands: Ryde, The Isle Of Wight and holidays in the Netherlands, Athens, the Greek Islands, Paris,Bouloigne, France and many many places in between.
Commisons- I will undertake to paint from either your photos or from suggestions by you.The terms of the Commission/s are that you are under no obligation to purchase the final article if you are not entirely satisfied with it.Of course the agreed price and medium cannot be changed once work has commenced. Why do I do this, well may you ask? I have undertaken a lot of commissions over the past 15 years, with these same terms.. I feel that unless you are absolutely 100% happy with the end result...I would not get the endorsements that I expect. I have seen other artists force their art on people who were not happy with the final result and the negative vibes this created is not worth it. So far I have never had one client not happy with the final result

Morrocan Doorway in Tuscany
This doorway really impressed me.It is hundreds of years old..the stucco is falling off the walls and you can see the ancient hand made bricks behind it. Who was the builder of this ancient wall? It reeks with history and for me , the old saying if walls could only talk! I really loved painting this scene. It is acrylic on canvas. approc size 120cmx 130cm |

'I See' acrylic on canvas
From my middle east experience well I have to admit ....I never saw one naked woman in Saudi Arabia, or the entire Middel East. However the tales of 1001 Arabian Nights does conjure up a few images. |
